When, Where, & How to Eat Your Live Frog! Avoiding Procrastination.

I’ve got a really great habit for you, one that can change your life, and speed you along your way to the success that you’ve dreamed of. It’s a tip that really works.
Ready?
Become a Ranovore!

Hmmm, you don’t know what a “ranovore” is? Well, that’s because I made up the word. It means “frog eater,” and I invented it by putting together the Latin words for frog and eater. It’s a way of avoiding procrastination.

The reason to become a ranovore comes from Mark Twain, who pointed out that if your job requires you to eat a live frog every day, eat that frog the first thing you do and get it over with. And if your job means you have to eat two live frogs every day, eat the bigger one first.

The thing is, people who are winners do the hard things. They don’t procrastinate and they don’t spend their time “sharpening pencils.” They just plunge in and do them. It’s what separates the average from the amazing.

Something to Ponder

To raise your success quotient, ask yourself each day, “What live frogs’ do I need to eat today?” Then do the most difficult thing first thing, and get it out of the way.

Don’t procrastinate; just get it over with. You’ll not only have more success, you’ll feel better about yourself and you won’t have that “looming” feeling hanging over you.

So try being a ranovore! You’ll be astonished by how far it will take you!
