About the Speakers
Mitzi Perdue is the Founder of Win This Fight, Stop Human Trafficking. She is a past president of the 40,000-member American Agri-Women. She’s also a former syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard and for years, her column, The Environment and You, was the most widely-syndicated environmental column in the country. At 80, she expects to spend the rest of her life raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for other anti-trafficking organizations.
Duncan Jepson is founder and managing director of Liberty Shared, a leading anti-trafficking organization. He teaches policy and social entrepreneurship at Princeton University, strategic leadership at the National Defense University, and is an affiliated scholar at the Institute for the Study of International Migration at Georgetown University. Duncan was a corporate lawyer for 20 years based in Asia specializing in the investment and financial services industry. He has written two novels and directed a number of documentary feature films.
Sara Crowe is the Director of the Strategic Initiative on Financial Systems at Polaris, a U.S. based non-profit working to end sex and labor trafficking in North America. In this role, she leads Polaris’s efforts to partner with the financial services industry to implement a comprehensive and industry-wide strategy to intervene in the crime of human trafficking.
Tom Hall is the Global Head UBS Philanthropy Services. He help clients identify and achieve their philanthropic and impact investing strategies. Prior to joining UBS in 2013, Tom spent his career in the non-profit sector. Tom is a Politics graduate from Exeter University and has professional qualifications in marketing (CIM), fundraising management and financial planning.
